WHAT WE COLLECT

• The text you type or share into Karo — this is what gets turned into a task, its steps, and any details we show you. It's the core of the product; there's no way to use Karo without it.
• An account identifier — either an anonymous random ID stored in your browser (no sign-in required), or, if you choose to sign in, your email address (used only for the magic-link sign-in itself — we never see or store a password).
• Push notification subscriptions — a token your browser or the Karo app registers with us, used only to deliver the reminders you asked for.
• Your country, derived from your IP address — not stored against your identity beyond what's needed to show the right marketplace (Amazon domain, currency) and localize search results. We don't log or retain raw IP addresses.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We use a small number of processors to make Karo work. Each only sees what it needs to do its job:

• Supabase — stores your tasks, reminders, and account data.
• OpenAI — turns what you type into a structured task.
• Serper — powers product search and price lookups.
• Resend — sends reminder emails, if you choose email over push.
• Vercel — hosts Karo and serves the app to you.
• PostHog — anonymous product analytics (which features get used), never the content of your tasks.

We do not sell your data, to anyone, ever.

DELETING YOUR DATA

You can permanently delete your account and everything tied to it — tasks, reminders, price watches, and push subscriptions — at any time from your account page. This is real deletion, not just hiding it from the app — once you confirm, the data is gone.
